A survey course focusing on the history of Western thought and ideas.

Introduction to Psychology
An introduction to the history and evolution of psychology with its various theories and practices and the individuals who developed them.

Comparative Religion
A one-semester course in the similarities and differences in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Studio Art
Beginning, developing, and capable students will explore a variety of techniques, materials, tools, genres, and processes including batik, mosaic and paper collage.

Cinema Critique
A one-semester course in the history and development of film with emphasis on the relevancy of social issues as depicted in movies.

Drama
A basic introduction to elements of acting through improvisations.

Speech/Debate
Guides students through all aspects of public speaking, starting from the research process and progressing through delivery and speech critiquing. Students will develop and critique extemporaneous, impromptu, informative, and persuasive speeches. The second semester ofthe course will guide students in the art and rules of debate.

Photography 1
Basic instruction in the use of the camera, composition and design, and safety procedures of the darkroom.

Photography 2 and 3
Advanced instructions in the use of the camera, composition and design, and special effect procedures in the darkroom. Instruction also includes basic digital photography as well as Adobe PhotoShop.

Instruction, study, and practice  of the Critical Reading, Mathematical, and Writing sections of the SAT test.
